Financial Operations Role

Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for OEM legacy and non-core products, is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team based in Bolton. This is a 9-month fixed-term position starting September 2024, supporting our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance department, and helping with the wider business. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Controlling core financial operational processes to ensure timely, accurate, and informative month-end information.
  • Identifying new informational needs in the business and collecting, analyzing, and reporting such information to support management in decision-making.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and be extremely organized. You will preferably be early or towards the middle of your journey towards a qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and be a self-starter who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. You'll also need to be able to deal helpfully and professionally with enquiries from a range of different people within and outside the business.
