Philosophy Instructor

Job Title: Philosophy Adjunct

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Philosophy Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses on the Chester or Midlothian campus of Brightpoint Community College. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in Philosophy or a related field and experience teaching at the postsecondary level.

Responsibilities:

• Teach online or traditional courses in Philosophy, including Introduction to Philosophy I, Logic I, and Ethics.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments.
• Provide excellent student support and guidance.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field.
• 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Philosophy.
• Experience teaching at the postsecondary level.
• Ability to use instructional technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
