Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and review of project documentation, utilizing cost estimating software applications to generate accurate reports and presentations for client meetings.
  • Partner with clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that promote opportunity for all and facilitate global mobility.
  • Develop and maintain cost estimating databases, utilizing Power-Bi to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project scope and communicate key information.
  • Track market conditions and costs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Build and analyze project costs from first principles, capable of analyzing cost-loaded programs.
  • Organize and manage cost estimating databases, utilizing knowledge of construction means and methods.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education to degree level in a relevant subject.
  • Proven experience in Rail/Civils.
  • Proficiency in CESSM 4, RMM2, and MMHW.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimating and commercial construction work.
  • Knowledge of construction means and methods.
  • Cost and estimating background.
  • Experience with cost estimating advice.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing timescales.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • RICS/CIOB (preferable).
  • Proficient in using Cost-X.
