Visionary Ophthalmic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team at a specialist ophthalmology hospital in Wetherby, Yorkshire.

• As a Hospital Optometrist, you will be part of a diverse and ambitious clinical team, working closely with consultant Ophthalmologists to provide services to NHS and private patients.
• You will have access to hospital-grade equipment and carry out examinations associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries.

1. Carry out acute and follow-up clinics post-surgery for all patients.
2. Provide first-line clinical advice to patients and refer them to medical practitioners as necessary.
3. Support direct consultant access, peer support, and a robust clinical CPD program.

• Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
• IP-qualified with extensive experience working as an optometrist in refractive, high street, or hospital environments.
• Interest in providing further clinical services and supporting the wider NHS hospital network.
