Nursery Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Director to lead our team in North Greenwich.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Little Elms is a reputable nursery provider with 11 nurseries across South London. We aim to deliver exceptional care for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Nursery Overview:

We offer state-of-the-art facilities, combining bright and spacious rooms indoors with fabulous outdoor areas. Our experienced team provides a stimulating yet safe environment for creative play.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to children.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding policies.
• Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies across departments.
• Deliver training and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Build positive relationships with families and promote occupancy rates.
• Manage staff deployment and optimize revenue generation.
• Implement Early Childhood practices that promote independence and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare (Essential).
• At least 3 years of management experience (ideally at Nursery Manager level).
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and willingness to undertake further training.
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week.
• Effective communication and ICT skills.
• Highly motivated and driven individual with a calm approach under pressure.
