About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Facilities Technician to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our studio facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and execute maintenance tasks to ensure the facilities are safe and operational.
  • Supervise and train the facilities team to perform tasks to industry standards.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance and implement measures to prevent accidents.
  • Respond to emergencies and implement temporary fixes to minimize downtime.
  • Manage the facilities team's rotas, holidays, and time-off requests.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary training and equipment to perform their duties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related emergencies.
Requirements
  • Practical training or apprenticeship in a trade.
  • Multi-trade experience and a strong understanding of COSHH.
  • CSCS card and IPAF/Forklift certification.
  • Supervisory or management experience in the construction industry or facilities management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
Working Pattern

This role will require working a 40-hour week on a rota shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will also be required to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
