About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Workshop Controller to join our team at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of our modern workshop, equipped with the latest technology and manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools.

Your primary responsibility will be to maximise the profitability, productivity, and efficiency of the workshop team, while ensuring that all work produced meets the highest technical and quality standards. You will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and support, while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the workshop team to achieve optimal performance and efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workshop productivity and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant technical and quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive workshop operations
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
