Project Manager (Engineering)

Location: Ellesmere Port, UK

Salary: £45,000

Hours: 40 hours per week - flexible hours

Contract / Permanent: Permanent

Site Based / Office / Remote: This role is predominantly based in Ellesmere Port, with occasional site visits required and up to 2 days per week WFH, upon successful completion of probationary period.

Job Overview:

As a seasoned Project Manager with a background in Engineering, you will be responsible for leading complex projects in the oil and gas industry. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the future of our projects and achieving our strategic objectives. You will be at the forefront of managing multifaceted projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage project scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring effective communication with clients and subcontractors.
  2. Develop and implement project risk management strategies, outlining contingency plans as required.
  3. Liaise with the shared services team to ensure requests for resource are directed to the appropriate team.
  4. Delegate tasks to Project Coordinators and Project Support Officers.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience in delivering collaborative projects on time and in budget.
  2. Good commercial awareness, including effective negotiation skills.
  3. Knowledge and experience of the engineering industry.
  4. Project Management or Business Management qualification is preferred but not essential.
Benefits:
  1. Salary £45,000 per annum.
