E&I Project Manager Role

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across various markets. We enhance asset efficiency, ensuring high availability and reducing maintenance costs.

Our team has extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities, specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases. We deliver our commitment through a highly competent workforce, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality.

This role involves taking full accountability in E&I project construction aspects, including HSE, quality, technical, and productivity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Health and Safety leadership by example, through communication, compliance monitoring, and shared learning.
  • Working closely with the Bilfinger Project Team to ensure a clear and consistent approach to all work carried out.
  • Producing E&I estimates within the customer-owned database.
  • Managing change, cost variation, and schedule.
  • Ensuring standard project control management is adopted for the project, monitoring KPIs, and compliance of procedures.
  • Setting and managing achievable goals and targets for the site team.
  • Ensuring project personnel are competent.
  • Accountable for the quality of work delivered by the team/department.
  • Input to the management of labour resource and materials for the contract.
  • Coordinating vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring clear and approved work scopes are available for the project team.
  • Contributing to meetings/presentations/reviews with Project/Site Stakeholders for effective communication and monitoring of progress.
  • Ensuring all project controls meet or exceed the project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering (desirable)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
  • COMPEX (desirable)
  • APM P (desirable)
