Cascade Operator/Forklift Driver Job Summary

Greenvale AP is seeking a skilled Cascade Operator/Forklift Driver to join our team at our Duns site in the Scottish Borders. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the constant operation of the Cascade System, performing forklift duties, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Cascade water plant and ensure regular changeover of chemicals and monitoring usage
  • Run the stone/potato separator as necessary and operate and clean the soil press
  • Conduct regular checks, including HACCP, PH, temperature, and water standard
  • Report any issues to the Engineering Manager and undertake forklift duties within the Washlines

Key Attributes:

  • Valid Forklift licence of ITSAAR, AITT, or RTITB standard
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and fault finding skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
