Cascade Operator/Forklift Driver Job Summary

Greenvale AP is seeking a skilled Cascade Operator/Forklift Driver to join our team at our Duns site in the Scottish Borders. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the constant operation of the Cascade System, performing forklift duties, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Cascade water plant and ensure it is running efficiently and effectively
  • Perform forklift duties within the Washlines, moving materials and equipment as needed
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure the Cascade System is operating within acceptable parameters
  • Monitor and report any issues or anomalies to the Engineering Manager
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to maintain high standards of quality and safety

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift licence of ITSAAR, AITT or RTITB standard
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Fault finding skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and safe working environment
