Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at DJS Business Development LTD T/A (Westwood Recruitment Ltd). As an Estimator for Roofing and Cladding, you will be responsible for accurately calculating costs and materials needed for roofing and cladding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and scope of work.
  • Perform site visits to assess conditions and gather information.
  • Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and time requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and bids.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain material pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to refine estimates.
  • Track and manage project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and construction methods.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in roofing and cladding.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing and cladding materials and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
