Job Title: Commercial Estimator

Job Overview:
We are partnered with a leading roofing contractor based in the North West region. Our client operates in the commercial, public, and industrial sectors across the region. They offer a range of cladding, roofing, and complementary services, including panel system installation, fascia, and soffit work, installation of roof-lights. With a great team culture that thrives on collaboration and success, they have the opportunity to add an experienced Estimator to their commercial division.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming tenders into the business
Complete site surveys and inspections to complete tender packages
Price both Gables generated enquiries as well as incoming tenders
Prioritise with the Sales team
Work to agreed objectives as set out in the company business/sales plan
Submit tender submissions at agreed margins with the timescales set out within the tender documents
Produce a weekly report to include value, %, market, material of submissions including ongoing conversion rates to the MD
Effectively communicate if enquiries cannot be priced both the client & with Gables
Management team (use tenders to Gables advantage)
Work to agreed sales objectives

Requirements:
Roof estimating experience is essential
Experience working with sub-contractors
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator
Team player and ambitious
Full driving licence
Strong IT Skills
