Job Title: Quarry Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection Limited. As a Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the operation of our quarries, concrete, and asphalt plants in South and West Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals in the operation of our quarries, concrete, and asphalt plants.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all employees and visitors to the site.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of the business.
  • Manage the financial performance of the operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in leading a team in a quarry or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Ability to think clearly under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical knowledge of fixed and mobile plant, engineering, and statutory responsibilities.
