Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our mobile plant machinery in a quarry environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of mobile plant machinery, including loading shovels, articulated dump trucks, and excavators, to aid in the safe undertaking of our activities.
  • Coat and bag slate granules, ensuring high-quality products are produced.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving license, as you will need to drive your own vehicle to and from work.
  • A genuine interest in the construction materials industry.
  • Experience of operating a forklift truck and other mobile plant machinery in a quarry environment is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
