About High Street Surgery

We are a busy semi-rural NHS practice providing care to 7,500 patients across two sites in Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley. Our friendly and efficient team of clinicians and support staff strive to deliver high-quality General Medical Services to our patients.

The role involves working as part of the primary healthcare team, assisting in and performing routine tasks related to patient care as directed by GPs. This includes requesting pathology tests, managing chronic diseases such as diabetes and coronary heart disease, and administering vaccinations.

As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for maintaining general tidiness and cleanliness of treatment rooms, ordering stock and supplies, and ensuring that waiting room leaflets are up-to-date. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and qualifications through training and development programs.

To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered General Nurse with experience in general practice and chronic disease management. You should be able to work without direct supervision and determine your own workload priorities. Estimated Salary: £25-£30 per hour.
