Occupational Therapist Opportunity

An exciting chance to contribute to the healthcare of older adults has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support patients in achieving their individual goals and maintaining independence in occupational performance activities.
  • Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team to assist patients in preparing for discharge from the hospital setting into community-based rehabilitation settings.
  • Gain experience in assessment processes within the acute hospital and complete access and community visits to support discharge planning.

Person Specification:Qualifications:
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DIPCOT OR BSC OT
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY HCPC REGISTRATION.
  • ECDL OR EQUIVALENT
  • PRACTICE EDUCATION CERTIFICATE
  • MSC IN HEALTH CARE RELATED SUBJECT
  • EVIDENCE OF POST-REGISTRATION STUDY
Experience:
  • ACUTE UK IN-PATIENT ASSESSMENT AND REHABILITATION EXPERIENCE
  • CLINICAL GOVERNANCE PARTICIPATION
  • PRECEPTORSHIP COMPLETION (BAND 5 DEVELOPMENT ONLY)
Desirable:
  • INVOLVEMENT IN ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT CLINICAL PRACTICE
  • SUPERVISION EXPERIENCE
  • SURGERY, VASCULAR, AMPUTEE, ORTHOPAEDIC IN-PATIENT ASSESSMENT AND REHABILITATION EXPERIENCE
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per annum depending on experience, along with a range of benefits to support your career and well-being.
