Job Title: Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse/ODP

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse/ODP to join our team at Oaks Hospital. As a key member of our theatre department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our theatre team. As a Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse/ODP, you will be responsible for performing the scrub role in Consultant-led surgeries, focusing on Orthopaedic Surgery. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the scrub role in Consultant-led surgeries, focusing on Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Minimum 2 years of Orthopaedic Scrub experience
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) - desirable but not essential
