Job Description: Pharmaceutical Research Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Pharmaceutical Research Specialist to conduct in-depth research and analysis in the pharmaceutical field. This role offers flexibility to work remotely and deliver valuable insights that support our research and development initiatives.

  • Clinical Research: Conduct comprehensive research on clinical trials, drug efficacy, safety profiles, and patient outcomes using various research methodologies and data from clinical studies and medical literature.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and guidelines from agencies such as the FDA, EMA, and other global health authorities. Ensure research and documentation adhere to these regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets from clinical trials and pharmaceutical studies using statistical tools and software to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Literature Review: Perform systematic reviews of scientific literature to gather information on new drugs, therapeutic approaches, and industry advancements. Summarize findings in detailed reports.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, including new drug developments, clinical trial results, and market strategies. Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive analysis.
  • Scientific Writing: Prepare scientific manuscripts, research reports, white papers, and regulatory submissions ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with scientific standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including RD, regulatory affairs, clinical operations, and marketing, to align research findings with business objectives.
  • Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation in pharmaceutical research and development suggesting new methodologies, technologies, or therapeutic areas for exploration.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical research, clinical research, medical writing, or related fields.
  • An advanced degree (Masters, Ph.D., or Pharm.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Biology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and scientific literature review.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present research findings and recommendations effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines for pharmaceutical research.
Benefits and Salary

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
