About the Role:

As an HSEQ Advisor at Urban Connect, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects to meet the requirements of our Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management systems. You will work closely with our site teams and managers to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that our health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement effective HSEQ initiatives to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Provide training and guidance to site staff on HSEQ procedures and best practices
  • Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent
  • CEnv or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an HSEQ Advisory role
  • Prior knowledge of Civil Engineering or Water Industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
