About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team in the Midlands. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support site teams and managers through inspections, recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and improving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective HSEQ strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on HSEQ procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
  • CEnv or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Previous experience in an HSEQ Advisory role, with a strong understanding of site inspections and audits.
  • Prior knowledge of Civil Engineering or Water Industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
