About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team in the Midlands. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site teams and managers through inspections, recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks.
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and improving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective HSEQ strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on HSEQ procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
- CEnv or equivalent as a minimum.
- Previous experience in an HSEQ Advisory role, with a strong understanding of site inspections and audits.
- Prior knowledge of Civil Engineering or Water Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
