We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.
As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our young participants. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering sports programs that cater to different age groups and abilities, ensuring that every child has a positive and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver sports programs for children aged 5-17 years
- Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to ensure a safe and engaging environment
- Supervise children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities
- Record any incidents or accidents and report to the Camp Manager
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
- At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
- Vibrant, resilient, and team-oriented personality
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
- Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available)
