About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Development Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Sports Development Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

You will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and develop their sporting skills. Your primary focus will be on delivering engaging and interactive sports sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of all children.

As a Sports Development Coach, you will also be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of children at all times, supervising children during lunch breaks, participating in swimming sessions, and overseeing the safe use of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to create a safe and supportive environment for children
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of children at all times
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks and participate in swimming sessions
  • Oversee the safe use of equipment
  • Provide support and guidance to children to help them develop their sporting skills
  • Contribute to the development of new sports programs and initiatives
Requirements
  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities available)
