Job Summary

The University of Creative Arts is seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our Estates and Facilities department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing exceptional support to our staff and students, and contributing to a safe and inclusive environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Opening and locking of premises, security, and fire prevention
  • Goods in/out, basic maintenance, and support to the University and its departments
  • Working as part of a team on a regular shift pattern and participating in emergency/on-call duties
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting with staff, students, and the public
  • Working independently and being flexible in your approach to work
  • Developing and maintaining a good awareness of IT systems and being willing to become a trained first aid member of staff

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check (arranged by the University)
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
