Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of support workers, conducting care plans and risk assessments, staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings. You will work closely with our Service Manager to ensure that excellent services are delivered and that our customers receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of support workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct and document care plans and risk assessments, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care.
- Lead staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Work closely with our Service Manager to ensure that excellent services are delivered and that our customers receive the best possible care.
- 80% of the role will be on shift carrying out Support Worker duties, which will involve personal care, outings with service users, and assisting with general household tasks.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role in the care sector is desirable.
- Experience with learning disabilities is essential.
- A current member of the PVG scheme or willing to register.
- Registered with SSSC or be prepared to register.
