About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to join our team at Orchid Healthcare. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing home, providing exceptional care to our residents, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of excellence in clinical and administrative arrangements, training, and care planning within the home.
- Organize and motivate the care team to deliver high-quality care and services.
- Maintain and monitor the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, including GPs and other multidisciplinary team members, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Ensure compliance with CQC National Minimum Standards regulations, prioritizing the needs, welfare, and social inclusion of residents.
- Organize and attend regular staff meetings to maintain open communication and address any concerns.
- Ensure the overall efficient and effective running of the care home, addressing any operational or administrative challenges.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Home Manager, with a proven track record of success.
- Hold a relevant qualification, such as RMA or NVQ5, and a valid NMC PIN (RGN or RMN desirable but not essential).
- Experience in budgeting and recruitment, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and services.
- Passion for elderly care and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
