Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing a wide range of ultrasound investigations, including ANC/TV scanning and non-obstetric scanning.
- Providing accurate and timely reporting of ultrasound results.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Supervising student radiographers and providing guidance and support as needed.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent diploma in a relevant field.
- A postgraduate certificate or diploma in Ultrasound at masters level.
- Registration with a relevant professional body, such as the HCPC or RCT.
- Sound professional knowledge of imaging modalities.
- Evidence of current CPD portfolio.
We welcome applications from candidates with highly specialist training in aspects of ultrasound and developed knowledge of specialized ultrasound imaging. Experience of specialist ultrasound imaging techniques and digital/PACS enabled ultrasound equipment is also desirable.
