Fire Extinguisher Engineer Opportunity

Marble Talent Group is working with a well-established company to fill the role of Fire Extinguisher Engineer. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and North London.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation and Servicing: Install, inspect, maintain, and service a wide range of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment in accordance with British Standards (BS5306).
  2. Testing and Inspection: Carry out routine inspections and functional tests to ensure fire extinguishers and safety equipment are in proper working condition.
  3. Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, advising clients on fire safety equipment and ensuring their compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.
  4. Record Keeping: Complete service reports, and maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and replacements.
  5. Training: Participate in continuous training programs to stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Must live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
  2. No experience required – Full training provided.
  3. Full UK driving license (required for travel to various customer sites).
  4. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  5. Basic mechanical aptitude or an interest in hands-on technical work.
  6. Good communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
  8. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Package:
  1. Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  2. Uncapped commission.
  3. 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
  4. Full training and qualifications provided.
  5. Company vehicle which can be used for private usage.
