CDM Advisor

Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively oversee CDM compliance to ensure regulations and objectives are consistently met.
* Produce timely and accurate CDM compliance reports and suitability reviews of pre-construction.
* Review design assumptions and design risk assessments to ensure hazards have been eliminated or reduced to as low as is reasonably practicable.
* Ensure designs comply with Anglian Water 'Safe to Operate' requirements, considering operational staff's wellbeing and overall project costs.
* Develop and deliver Health and Safety training packages to designers and suppliers to ensure best practice and knowledge sharing.
* Partner closely with the Anglian Water CDM Discipline Head to meet CDM and client requirements while pushing innovation and processes for efficient compliance.
Requirements:
* A qualification in Engineering or Health and Safety.
* Experience working in a multi-discipline design team and applying Health and Safety principles in design.
* Understanding of operational and maintenance requirements of water industry assets and construction processes and procedures.
* Effective communication skills and a problem-solving mentality.
