Job Title: Administrative Assistant MHSU Unit

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Rocky Mountain Lodge in Cranbrook, B.C. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, days from 08:00 - 16:00, with an anticipated end date of February 2026 or upon return of the incumbent.

About the Role

This position will provide administrative support to the operation of CMU Mental Health and Substance Use Services. The successful candidate will perform reception and administrative duties, including data entry, client scheduling, preparing routine correspondence and reports, responding to inquiries, and collecting fees.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to HCIS/MHSU/PCCT programs
  • Perform duties such as data entry, client scheduling, and preparing routine correspondence and reports
  • Respond to inquiries and collect fees
  • Provide health unit aide support to HCIS/MHSU/PCCT programs
  • Maintain inventories of medical/surgical supplies, clean medical equipment and instruments, and deliver supplies and biologicals to health unit as requested
Requirements
  • A current supervised 5-minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 24 months from a recognized institution
  • A Medical Office Assistant Certificate
  • A current valid BC Driver's License
  • Your Resume
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position
