Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a low secure environment, providing therapeutic care and support to patients with severe and enduring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support trained nurses in delivering direct care for patients
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients, including observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions
  • Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty

Requirements

  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience within an acute mental health setting
  • Practical Manual Handling & BILD Accredited TMVA training
  • UK Resident
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Driving Licence and own vehicle
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
