About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Pontypridd. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing residential and therapeutic care to adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to patients, promoting independence and self-responsibility.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment and rehabilitation plans.
  • Support patients with challenging behavior and physical and psychiatric comorbidities.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, promoting dignity and well-being.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Desire to create positive outcomes for adults with mental health issues.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
