Job Title: Practice Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team at The New Surgery Pencoed. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience in General Practice and be able to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, COPD, and asthma. You will also be responsible for providing health education and advice to patients, as well as participating in the organisation and coordination of nursing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, screening, and treatment services to patients
  • Participate in the organisation and coordination of nursing services
  • Provide health education and advice to patients
  • Contribute to the development of nursing protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse or equivalent
  • Experience in General Practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
