Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily nursing activities and ensuring adherence to healthcare policies and procedures.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff, providing support and mentorship to promote a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records.
- Proven experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting.
- RGN or RMN qualification, with an active UK NMC Pin.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in using electronic health records and other healthcare management systems.
