About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to join our Community Team in Ashford, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a diverse group of staff and volunteers who work with individuals affected by crime, with a particular focus on stalking.

As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the team, including meeting with funders and external partners to provide a voice for victims. You will also be responsible for managing competing priorities, building partnerships with other agencies, and demonstrating empathy while ensuring your team is managing challenging caseloads effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers working with individuals affected by crime

Requirements
  • Experience of leading a team and managing competing priorities
  • Knowledge and understanding of stalking and its impact
  • Able to work independently to meet set targets and goals
  • Good communication skills and ability to represent Victim Support
  • Qualified ISAC or willing to obtain this qualification once in post
