Job Summary

We are seeking an Actuarial Pensions Graduate to join our team. As a graduate, you will work on various tasks such as analysing data to identify trends and insights, communicating with clients, writing reports and presenting your work.

About the Role
  • You will apply actuarial concepts and modelling techniques to derive our view on financial assumptions.
  • Building proposals for new business pitches is also a key responsibility.
  • You will complete actuarial audits of pension schemes.
  • Supporting the investment governance and oversight team in selecting, monitoring and researching fiduciary managers.
  • Carrying out due diligence on the pension aspects in a corporate transaction (mergers and acquisitions).
  • Collaborating with insurers to arrange risk transfers and playing a pivotal role in securing pension benefits.
  • Providing support on advising clients in relation to their pensions and related risks.
Requirements

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don't screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will need to be working towards an honours degree in a numbers-based subject like Maths, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or Technology, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, or in your home language if you do not hold English Language GCSE, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent), including an A grade at A Level/Higher Maths (or equivalent carrying at least 48 UCAS points) to be eligible to apply.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
