Pharmacy Technician

About the Role
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized pharmacy technician to join our team in Outpatient Pharmacy. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the provision of pharmaceutical services, including dispensing and issuing prescriptions, providing advice, and working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy dispensers to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a hospital pharmacy background or community pharmacy experience, with a strong focus on accuracy checking. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions, managing stock, and maintaining accurate records. You will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
- Accuracy checking pharmacy technician qualification
- Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
