About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our pharmacies and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Providing information and advice to customers on common ailments and products
  • Supporting the management of the pharmacy and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to provide excellent customer service
  • Assisting with clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners
  • Ensuring all dispensary routines and standard operating procedures are followed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A pharmacy technician or accuracy checking technician NVQ qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician
  • Proof of completion of a recognized training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician
  • Proof of completing your annual Continuing Professional Development requirements
