Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee our operations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective risk management and compliance programs across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards across EMEA
  2. Stay informed about regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization
  3. Implement necessary changes to maintain compliance
Risk Management:
  1. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the contract
  2. Develop and maintain a risk register for the EMEA region
  3. Implement risk management strategies and monitor their effectiveness
Development and Implementation:
  1. Create, update, and enforce compliance procedures
  2. Ensure procedures align with both client and JLL standards
Training and Education:
  1. Develop and deliver compliance and risk management training programs
  2. Educate employees on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Auditing and Monitoring:
  1. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance
  2. Monitor business activities for potential compliance issues
  3. Implement and ensure close out of corrective actions as needed
Reporting:
  1. Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance status and risk exposure
  2. Present findings and recommendations to senior management
Stakeholder Management:
  1. Manage relationships with client and external auditors
Data Protection:
  1. Oversee GDPR compliance and other data protection regulations
  2. Implement data protection policies and procedures
Business Continuity:
  1. Conduct business impact analyses to identify critical functions and processes
  2. Develop, document, and maintain detailed business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  3. Regularly review and update plans to ensure relevance and effectiveness
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years of experience in risk management and compliance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  2. Qualifications in business continuity and integrated management systems.
  3. Knowledge of EMEA regulations and compliance requirements.
  4. Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  8. Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office suite
  9. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
This position requires occasional travel within the EMEA region and the ability to work across different time zones.
