About the Role

As a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients in a timely manner, enabling them in positive risk-taking, personalized care, assessment of capacity, manual handling, functional assessment, and knowledge of the SAFER principles of care and Discharge to Assess.

The role involves working in various clinical specialties within acute care, including Acute Medicine including Frailty Intervention, Emergency Department and Admission Avoidance, Stroke Assessment & Rehabilitation, and other areas. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in assessment and treatment of patients, delivering evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being, and optimize independent functioning.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can demonstrate consolidated clinical experience in relevant clinical specialities, experience of working as a qualified OT in the UK, and ability to demonstrate clinical experience in both acute and community settings.
