Senior Employment Lawyer Role

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Lawyer to join their Litigation legal team at Luton Borough Council. As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will provide expert advice and representation to the Council in all areas of employment law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive professional legal advice to the Borough Council and client departments
  • Manage a portfolio of cases, including TUPE, Redundancy, Unfair Dismissal, Discrimination, and Maternity
  • Prepare Employment Tribunal cases and act as an advocate where required
  • Attend courts and tribunals, undertaking advocacy and representing clients in negotiations and discussions
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor, barrister, or FCILEx with 6 years+ PQE
  • Previous advocacy experience and exceptional relationship building, networking, and influencing skills
