Front of House Role at Colet House

We are seeking a friendly and highly organized individual to join our small team as a Front of House staff member in a beautiful historic building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage the online booking system, printing guest lists and admitting guests
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of meeting rooms, kitchens, and break-out areas
  • Order supplies for the building and provide support services to visitors and staff
  • Provide fire safety briefings and training to room hirers as required
  • Water house plants and maintain the gardens as needed
  • Ensure emergency exits are clear and maintained
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including restocking crockery

Requirements:

  • IT literacy in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including Saturdays
