Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by Motor Neurone Disease? We are seeking a skilled Regional Relationship Fundraiser to join our team in the East Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage fundraising activities within the East Midlands region to drive vital income generation for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, individuals, and groups to empower them to raise funds for the charity.
  • Deliver fantastic supporter care by guiding fundraisers through their bespoke journey, offering personalised support via meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Collaborate with our volunteering branches and groups to help them grow their local fundraising activities, ensuring they have all the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Manage records in our CRM system and ensure all funds are received promptly and correctly.
  • Represent the charity at public events, deliver presentations, and participate in local media interviews on behalf of the Association.

Requirements:

  • Experience in community fundraising or relationship management.
  • Passion for inspiring and supporting others to achieve their fundraising goals.
  • Ability to motivate and coach people, helping them feel confident and valued throughout their journey.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and GDPR guidelines.
  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing situations.
