**Job Title:** Flexographic Printer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printer to join our team at Streamline Search. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials on corrugated packaging.

• **Machine Operation:** Set up and operate flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials on corrugated packaging.
• **Quality Control:** Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent print quality and adjust as necessary.
• **Troubleshooting:** Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the printing process.
• **Team Coordination:** Coordinate with other team members to ensure production targets are met efficiently.
• **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• **Leadership:** Lead and supervise machine operation by communicating effectively with machine teams and counterparts.
• **Product Expertise:** Provide product expertise to team members and support them with the production workflow.
• **Shift Handovers:** Provide detailed shift handovers to other operators taking over the line, with focus on quality and any maintenance issues or irregularities during the shift.
• **Continuous Improvement:** Feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement processes and procedures.
• **Interdepartmental Communication:** Liaise and communicate with other departments to ensure an effective interface is maintained.

• **Manufacturing Experience:** Relevant manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry with relevant experience of flexographic printing.
• **Industry Knowledge:** Understanding of various product ranges within the packaging industry and quality control processes and requirements within the production schedule.
• **Cost Awareness:** Understanding of design and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap, and re-work.
• **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication skills with the ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem-solving.
• **Computer Literacy:** Computer literacy, able to use MRP's, such as ABACA PKG 3000.
• **Relationship Building:** Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues.
• **Results Orientation:** Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives with the ability to show resilience and a flexible approach.
• **Enthusiasm and Determination:** Enthusiasm and determination to excel.

• **Starting Salary:** £30,500
• **Shift Work:** Shift work with 2 alternate rotational shifts - Early: 5:45 to 14:00 - Late 13:45 to 22:00

• **Holidays:** 29 days holidays including Bank Holidays, increasing after two years, at one day for the next 3 years, to a total of 32 days.
