TPF Recruitment is seeking a talented and experienced Tax and Accounts Supervisor to join a dynamic and multi-location accounting firm.
This esteemed practice offers a remarkable work-life balance and fosters a supportive, family-oriented atmosphere. In this role, you will engage in a broad range of responsibilities, including accounts management, tax compliance, bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, and CIS.
You will be supported by a small yet proficient team and will serve as the primary contact for client inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individuals.
- Oversee all facets of client service delivery, including the preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS.
- Communicate with clients regarding accounts and tax matters as needed.
- Act as the main liaison for clients, ensuring they are kept informed of progress and maintaining regular communication.
- Review work completed by junior team members and address any issues prior to submission.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Develop, retain, and motivate junior staff members while assisting in the overall management of daily operations.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a practice environment.
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio effectively.
- Strong track record of establishing and maintaining robust client relationships.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software, such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Experience with TaxCalc or similar accounting software is desirable but not mandatory.
Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience and background, with negotiable terms. Additional benefits include pension contributions, parking, holiday allowance, and performance bonuses.
