**About Drayton Medical Practice**

We are a medical practice based in the centre of Market Drayton, providing high-quality services to our patients.

Salary: £32,000 - £43,041 per annum (depending on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and hardworking nurse to join our team as a Practice Nurse. As a key member of our primary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing Personal Medical Services to our patients.

The successful applicant will work closely with our fully supportive Nursing, HCA, and phlebotomy teams to provide high-quality patient care. You will be expected to undertake general practice nurse duties, including wound care, health needs management, vaccinations, and more.

You will also be involved in clinical and non-clinical meetings to manage and continually improve our patient care. We value training and development and have been a teaching practice for many years.

Main Duties:
  • Acting within scope of practice, undertake general practice nurse duties such as wound care and support
  • Implement and participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes
  • Advise, support, and administer vaccinations as required
  • Work with other health professionals to diagnose, monitor, manage, and treat long-term conditions
  • Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately
  • Maintain contemporaneous and accurate medical records
  • Ensure the clinical environment is fit for purpose and adheres to infection control measures
