Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Conventus Solutions Limited. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for working on seat designs, improving the maturity of current seat modules, and managing teams working on seat module designs and work packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex seat components, including mechanisms and BOMs.
- Lead successful design integration to ensure customer and airframe regulatory requirements are met.
- Apply processes and methods for product design, ensuring process compliance through change management, design optimization, DFMEA, GD&T, design for manufacture, and knowledge management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design innovation and improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on aircraft seating and/or aircraft interiors.
- Expertise in CATIA V5 and other relevant design software.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading mechanical design teams.
- Ability to develop and implement design processes and methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
