Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Senior Ports Officer to join our team at Counter Terrorism Policing North West. As a key member of our Borders team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our borders across the 5 North West Forces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of staff across four sites within the geographical Force areas of GMP and Merseyside.
  • Collaborate with CTBOC (Counter Terrorism Borders Operations Centre) and associated National Functions to drive both National and Regional Strategic Objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to keep our borders safe and secure.
  • Work closely with local policing teams and other partner agencies to achieve our mission of keeping people safe from terrorism.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
