About the Role

Corserv is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy and operations for our airport business. As a key member of the Management Team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving commercial performance, and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial leadership to the F&B and Retail teams to optimize productivity, manage costs, and drive revenue performance.
  • Manage all onsite commercial concessionaires, including Car Hire, Taxis, and Airport advertising, to ensure revenue and operational performance.
  • Oversee the Car Park operation and revenue performance, developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ensure all net revenue per passenger targets are met and exceeded, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and lead the operating model for the future development of Retail and F&B across the airport, integrating sustainability considerations into all commercial operations.
  • Be accountable for regulatory compliance of all airport commercial operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop commercial products and services that deliver maximum net revenue per passenger, promoting regional products and suppliers, and enhancing the passenger experience.
  • Implement effective and professional systems and processes across all commercial operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to drive revenue performance across all areas, and work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to understand data and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple businesses, demonstrating strong contract management skills to extract maximum value from suppliers.
  • Budget management and accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven success in profitable management of relevant commercial business.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Basic understanding of retail and F&B practices and processes.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience of revenue and margin management.
  • NVQ or equivalent in relevant skill set to the role.
