Reservations Coordinator

The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for processing incoming reservations and maximizing room revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bookings via telephone, letter, or fax, ensuring accurate details are entered into our computer system.
- Update reservations as necessary, including amendments or cancellations.
- Ensure all bookers are aware of our hotel policy regarding credit and release times.
- Assist in controlling business mix and room rates as instructed by the Manager/Head of Department.
- Maintain a filing system containing all correspondence related to reservations.
- Ensure procedures are carried out to support best practice for our M&E office.
- Effectively communicate with reception regarding special request bookings or last-minute charges.
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Opera system.
- Experience in managing individual and group enquiries.
- Flexibility in attitude, approach, and working hours.
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written), excellent phone etiquette, and communication skills.
- Customer service orientation and computer literacy.
